Meet Dr. Jack Hemelstrand
Dr. Hemelstrand grew up in Myrtle Creek, Oregon and is proud to be an Oregonian.
At 17, he joined the Oregon National Guard, which allowed him to pursue his education. In 1994, he received his Bachelor of Science in biology, from Willamette University. He went on to earn his Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) in 2002 from OHSU School of Dentistry.
For 8 years Dr. Hemelstrand built a thriving practice in Grants Pass, Oregon. In 2010 he moved back to the Portland area to be closer to his family. He also retired from the National Guard in 2010, with 26 years of distinguished service.
Today, Dr. Hemelstrand enjoys working in his updated Gresham office. It is a peaceful environment where he and his team provide advanced, gentle and personalized care to their patients. When he’s not working, Dr. Hemelstrand loves spending time with his family and friends, helping foster kids, boating, camping, and cooking.

Brianna
Brianna was born and raised in the Northwest. She graduated high school in 2008 and has been working with her dad from 2009 to present. Brianna started working for her dad as the receptionist, and after getting her certificate in radiology at OHSU, started assisting as well. She is currently enrolled at EOU to further her education and learn new skills. She had her first child December 2018. In her time off she enjoys getting her friends together and outdoor activities.
